I used some fishing line and two swivel hooks from my fishing tackle box.  Attached one end to one screw inside the mirror and the other around any available place on mirror.  Easy and cheap.

Blaine, while I have no help for your footpegs, I too noticed that same thing with my 2018 (3K).  It was even more noticeable with the lowered foot pegs.  And even more weird, I am trying to sell my Electra Glide to get a XR1200!!

My 2008 RT had heated grips. They were worn out, previous owner, so like the picture I carefully with an Exacto knife cut the grip off and used an after market set.  Hardest part is getting the new grips on.  I have used hair spray for grip attachment for years, keeps the grips lub...

My non dealer bike shop says use 40/40 on PR4GT and you avoid some cupping, but they will still cup a little, don't worry about it with that kind of mileage!
