Re: Is 95k too many
Just traded my 2014 RT (WC) in for a 1250, got just £4600 for a fully loaded LE but the corrosion was appalling. So why another BMW... The bike was fantastic, 3 year warranty and a determination to crucify them over ANY blemish under warranty and a commitment to trade in at 3 years. My bike covered ...

Re: New 2018 RT what would you like to see ??
Also useful when you switch (like every other vehicle I've had with a digital dash) to see range & odo in km this helps road signs be more useful. When touring I want to be enjoying the ride & scenery not constantly performing simple maths, obviously I'm odd but the question was what would y...

Never said it was rocket science but clearly BMW consider it to be so.Casbar wrote:
You have a speedo in mph, its not rocket science to work out the speed in kph, a little bit of mental arithmetic. Or you could just buy another Vauxhall 8)

Re: New 2018 RT what would you like to see ??
There is no switch to change to kph from mph. Apparently the dealer can set if required, but not user stable. Just use the Nav or do the calculation, not really an issue I use the satnav but not much use in a tunnel and on the continent they do love placing cameras on tunnel exits! Sent from my iPh...

Re: New 2018 RT what would you like to see ??
I love the rt dash, a few small improvements: on the trip counter allow it to have the 3 current settings or range. I'm sure it's there but buggered if I can find a switch to kph instead of mph digitally. I agree on keeping the dials though in reality I don't use the that much just prefer the look. ...

I assume that's 2 tours! I'm doing Switzerland, Austria & Germany in September with brothers not wife so range won't be reporting 413 miles then!RTman10 wrote: Too late already booked for Germany and Scottish West coast.

So needed for riding flat out down a very steep hill then, otherwise overspecified...timminator wrote: Z rated tires are good for 149+ mph. At least according to the experts at google.

I may have touched 90 briefly once but just went past one at a time when the way was clear. It was tight but couldn't have been THAT tight or my wife would have commented! Still reac...
