It is indeed awful.
Mine never dropped out, as I used a dedicated android phone, BUT you can't edit routes on the fly...you have to take the phone out.

I owned an Explorer (same engine).
Quite top heavy, as the engine is tall, and mounted high in the frame.
The RT eats it. MUCH better bike.

Hello all
I have tried the BMW touring screen and a CalSci model.
Both were too noisy. Went back to the stocker.
Bought a Quiet Ride about 2 weeks ago.
Fantastic. Very quiet, and you can ride with your visor up at 100 km/hr.
Highly recommended.
