Nav IV Basecamp Uploads - Recalc When I Get Lost
[size=2px]I have a Navigator iV on my RT1200 LC and when I upload a multi-waypoint route to it from basecamp, it works OK if I stick to the route. However, if I veer off the route (i.e. get a bit lost!),it seems to get confused ... when I have it set to 'auto' for re-calculate. If I set the re-calc...

Re: 2014 RT LC Service cost?.
If at 2 years old the bike has only done 6,000 miles would the service be the same as the first year service or would it be a 12,000 mile service (on a 12,000 miles or two years, whichever is the sooner basis)?

Re: Helmets with built in...
What's Schubert got to do with BMW BT kit. If you connect any make of non BMW BT to the audio unit it will always say Not Possible for the Helmet Two connection. The only way round it if you don't want their kit and you and your pillion want to connect to everything ie the unit ...

Touratech Engine Bars and BMW aux lights
Does anyone know how to fit the BMW aux lights and the Touratech engine bars together on an LC? I have the aux lights but when I take them off to fit the bars they won't go back on as the spacer for the bars pushes the light bracket back against the engine casing (right hand side only). Are there br...

Re: Agricultural clunk
Mine is a whole heap better in this regard than the K1600 GTL I had previously and that was after they had fixed the shifting 'clack' on the K16's that ended in a court case against BMW in New Zealand and the owner won.

Re: Potential new R1200RT owner
I have been riding BMW RTs since the 1980s. A Wisconsin native, I never owned a Harley. I did visit the Harley factory once -- on my RT. The seat is the major issue with an R1200RT. Get Russell Day-Long saddles and your butt problems are over. Info ...

Re: 8 Bluetooth Headsets Tested
Just realised I need bike to bike also as my wife has started riding. Doh, I might need a long lead! With Autocom, is it possible to use wireless between helmets when riding separate bikes (me on RT and wife on her 125) and wired when we're both on the same bike (RT)?
