My left hand mirror did the same in spain back in june, temps in the high 30s. Saw it flapping and pulled it off before it fell off. I put it in the compartment on the tank and its still there, seems to have stuck itself to the side.

Got PR4`s on mine. This is the only bike I`ve had that wears out the front tyre first.

Haunted seems to be rather accurate. I'm an old guy and remember well the days when I could repair, readjust or otherwise cajole a problem into submission on the side of the road with a handful of easily available tools. These days, such requires a backpack full of diagnostic equipment, spare parts...

short fingers
I need your help to find some new gloves that will fit my short fingers. All my previous gloves have a little flappy bit of unused glove on the end of each finger, makes using the satnav a hit and miss affair. I know Held do a short fingered option, does anyone else?
