I hear you guys.  There's a whole lot of things learned and discovered as I walked down this path.


I guess what I'm trying to say is - if you want to replicate what was accomplished in the video link I shared.  There is a way to make it happen on current generation R1200RT LCs.

Went to Dallas, Texas this past month to attend the CEDIA (Custom Electronics Design & Installation Association) conference. Took the RT there via Austin and Ft. Worth. Originally wanted to put the dvr unit under the pillion seat, but the front camera cable length was too short.  That said, the unit now sits underneath the front seat.
