Re: Seattle, WA - Daily Commuter / R1200 RT
Hi, Just saw your post. I live in a small community south of Seattle and (in "normal" times) commute on my RT to Seattle on a daily basis. Frequently, I travel to Everett as well. I feel the RT has been an excellent choice but there are three things that I would highly ...

Re: Brake Light Modulator for 2014 RT?
I have a 2015 RT and purchased a BMW CAN bus compatible Vizi-tec "Supabrake 2" brake light modulator. When I ordered it, I specified the bike and it came with the correct BMW plugs. This allowed me to disconnect the plug from the bike to the lights and insert this in line with the existing...

Re: How do you aim your mirrors?
Wunderlich mades some pricy, gold tint mirrors where the outer portion is angled. I have them on my 15RT also on my former 1600GT. Gold tint cuts glare, angled portion helps with blind spot. Does not reduce need turn head T6pilot, I have seen the Wunderlich mirrors advertised. It seems like a simpl...

Re: Cold Starting Issue
Thanks for your response RTMan. I will give the dealer a call. This won't be an easy problem to trouble-shoot. I only see this when it has sat for 5-6 hours and once it starts, it always starts after 1-2 revolutions.

Cold Starting Issue
I have a new 2015 1200RT and I have noticed that it rarely starts on the first start cycle when its "cold". When I start it in the morning or even during the day (after it has been several hours between rides), it will typically not start when I hold the START button down.&nb...
