Re: Best Tires??

Metzeler Roadtec 01s. Great handling in wet or dry. 6000 miles ‘making progress’ on them so far with plenty of tread left.  Didn’t like the 8s at all.

Only warm up needed is the Satnav to locate satellites. After that, button pressed and go have fun.

Grip puppies every time. Vibes numbed but heated grips retained. Brilliant for few quid. Also find wider grips more comfortable too.

250m is the limit. Try it next time you leave a motorway.  Turn on at the 300 marker and they will have cancelled before the exit.

Re: Throttle modes?

If you ride like a muppet, no mode in the world will save you so you still have to use the basic skills of riding to the conditions, positioning, right seed/gear etc. The modes merely lurk in the background ready to help out if needed and we the rider learn to ride to the bikes ability but ultimate...

Re: BT intercom

The Air has a super slim remote switch similar to the BMW one that sticks to the helmet chin guard/side so apart from switching on/off, can be operated from the switch. Don't partularly like chunky bits clamped onto the side of my helmet hence the Air.
