Re: OK - I admit it, I'm tempted...
An S1000XR engine in an Aprillia Caponord style fairing and seat - that would be my ideal bike. Still considering the S1000XR after 2 test rides am warming to it.

Mines also an LE without Audio but with a top box in quartz metallic blue - the figure I was quoted was for both PX or outright purchase.
Cost of bike was £13500 in January 2105 which included NAV 5 which is NOT included in valuation.

The itch has taken hold, on saturday I fixed up a couple of test rides. Firstly an S1000XR and then an RS1200. I found the S1XR so different to the RT that it was difficult to decide in the hour I had it for whether I liked it or not - all I will say is that talk of how fast it is at 8000+ revs was ...

Re: What have you got planned for 2016?
Just booked Chunnel for 1/07/2016, going down to Innertkirchen, Switzerland to ride passes, on down via Val d'isere to Embrun and ride a few roads round that area, tracking back North and heading home on 10/07. Still considering where to go for another trip early June, might do Scotland again.

Re: Service charges
Is it possible / acceptable to supply own oil, for £10 hardly worth the effort I suppose.

Re: Swiss passes 2016
Thanks for reply DaygloDavid, and yes the Ride guide and loads of other information, videos on youtube etc., available on the web are all of great use , and are each year when planning the next years trips (something I like to spend time on as we are in the Autumn/winter misery season). I was probab...

Swiss passes 2016
Hi all, anyone have experience of riding the main Swiss passes, Furka, Grimsel etc. Am going to incorporate them in a trip mid July next year which will also take in much of the French Alps, Route des Grande Alps (which I have ridden before). Any advice appreciated.
