Re: Russell seat advice needed
I’ll give one more data point. I had the Bakup backrest on my ‘08 RT and really liked it. Therefore, when I had my Russle built for my ‘15 RT I ordered the backrest again. I’ve tried it several times and do not use it at all anymore. If I had it to do over, I would not have my passenger seat modifie...

Re: Cruise Control Issue on 2016 RT
Same issue on my '15. Had it looked at at my dealer a few weeks ago and they say they could not replicate the problem. Of course it didn't happen when I picked it up, but at least it is documented as a problem and I will check it out again on my next tour.

Re: Russell DL Rear Seat Opinions Wanted -
I never have a back passenger either so I did not have them do anything to the passenger other than their standard recovering of it to match the front. If I remember correctly, they do not charge anything additional for that, it was part of the deal to work your rider seat. Edit: I did add their bac...

My brother uses a number of these devices for items he routinely misplaces, might be an option http://www.infinitepowersolutions.com/trackr/ For the Mrs who worries issue, I invested in an InReach sattelite communicator (recently purchased from Delorme by Garmin) after a few trips riding the Rockies...

Re: Fuel reserve
The one variable I wonder about when determining how much fuel the tank took vs documented capacity, is how full the individual actually considers full. The collar inside the fill cap stops fueling well before the tank is full. I have found it takes a bit of patience to actually fill my tank to capa...

Re: Ferry crossing
Unfamiliar with ferry travel, but would suggest using the bottom of the forks triple tree as a tie down point as opposed to handlebars or across the seat.

Looks like the same unit to me John . Balancer and adapters is from NoMar (and yes, that is the rear wheel adapter on the ground).

Re: Changing Tires
Change my own and have been balancing with Counteract balancing beads instead of external weights for several years now. On my last change I was going to pre-balance the wheel before mounting the tire, but after adding more weight than I wanted, I removed them and went with beads again. Posting a pi...
