2018 R1200RT - GPS cover plate???

Does anyone have a picture of the factory GPS cover plate that came on their bike or the BMW Part Number, if I want to source a replacement ...

Re: Top Box Seals Itself Shut

Thanks for the replies and suggestions, everyone.  I will definitely try the silicone spray or talc methods before getting crazy with my drill.  :)  I bought this bike used; so I don't know the exact history of this particular top box.  I just know it is a factory...

Top Box Seals Itself Shut

Does anyone else have a problem with their 49L top-box sealing itself shut in the afternoon sun?  Normally, mine opens just fine.  However, I few times I have gone out to my bike at 5:30PM after the bike has sat in the sun all day, and it is VERY difficult to open.  I can ...

Re: New (to me) 2008 R 1200 RT

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

According to the map, it looks there are a couple others in the Phoenix-metro.

I'm still scouring through all the threads...tons of great information.

New (to me) 2008 R 1200 RT

Thanks for letting me join this group. I don't know if it is expected or customary to make an introductory post, but here is mine. I just picked up my new (to me) Biarritz Blue 2008 R1200RT yesterday in Orange County, CA (22,600 miles on the odometer) and promptly rode her home to Phoenix, AZ. I am ...
