2007 RT-P Which Oil In UK?

Hi Guys, I have a 2007 R1200RT-P that came go me with no owners manual. I'm working my way through things like new tyres, new brake pads, new plugs etc etc and these are easy as they all have identifying numbers. I have picked up a new oil filter but I am at a loss to know what is the best oil to fi...

Re: Rear Rack Extender for 2015 R1200RT LC ??

Thanks for all the helpful advice guys. In the end I didn't fit a rack extension to my 2015 RT LC, instead I added a liveried 2007 RTP with just 8k miles on it to my garage 👍

Re: Rear Rack Extender for 2015 R1200RT LC ??

I went through the same thing, I had a rack made up by a local engineering company, it is quick release and can be taken off in minutes. Here is a photo, but the price was eye watering, as I had the first prototype. But I also use it for camping, so getting use out of it. I couldn't find anything s...

Rear Rack Extender for 2015 R1200RT LC ??

Hi Guys, I have a 2015 R1200RT LC and I use it for carrying Blood Boxes when volunteering for Blood Bikes. These boxes are about 12in wide, 18in London and 16in high. Very light but bulky. They do strap on to the standard rear rack on the RT and have never come off. But I am never totally confident ...

Re: Ferry crossing

I did the crossing a couple of years ago all be it with a Pan 1300 not an RT. They did provide straps but some of them were a bit oily etc so thankfully I had taken my own. Don't use the centre stand, it is more stable with the wider spread 3 points of contact created by the side stand. Don't strap ...

Re: LED Driving Lights

I fitted OEM LED lights to my 2015 RT, However I do have 2 other items that are ignition switched, namely a camera and hyperlite brake lights. Both get their power from one of these http://www.fuzeblocks.com which is ignition switched by the feed to the rear accessory socket.

Re: Where is the Seat...?

They are an honest business so no issue on that front. At the end of the day you have paid for an item to be delivered and it's for them to get it to you. If it goes missing in transit it's their problem not yours. If you paid by PayPal or credit card so much the better as both have an added level o...

Re: Blood Biking

IRider, very interested by your comment. Can you point me in the right direction for confirming the legal exemption to pass a red light, treating it as a stop and give way?  We don't currently pass red lights. Thanks If you get your training leader to liaise with NABB, they will give them ...

You really should check your facts before going public. You are wrong on both counts but if your happy with your interpretation and understanding that's a matter for you.

Re: Blood Biking

Do they do anything during the day or is it always at night ? I'm assuming every group has its own demands, our group like many others has areas within the group. Each area meets th different needs of the Hospitals within their area. In my area in my group we cover every night and 24hrs Saturday an...
