I fitted OEM LED lights to my 2015 RT, However I do have 2 other items that are ignition switched, namely a camera and hyperlite brake lights. Both get their power from one of these http://www.fuzeblocks.com which is ignition switched by the feed to the rear accessory socket.

They are an honest business so no issue on that front. At the end of the day you have paid for an item to be delivered and it's for them to get it to you.
