Klimt Traverse Jacket
Anyone had any experience with this jacket? Seems to be lightweight and well vented for warmer days but on the pricier side as armour is extra.

Re: R1200RT Footpegs
I fitted the wider more aero foil shaped pillion footpegs from the K16 GTL. Fixed the issue if rubber twisting and looks more attractive too.

Re: Rider foot peg lowering options for LC
Thanks Littlebriar & T6pilot. The suburban machinery option looks attractive. Correct me if I’m wrong but they seem to be a replacement foot peg unit as opposed to an intermediate connecting bracket like Wunderlich which makes the footpegs stick out. The Illium adju...

Re: Sports screen on 2018 RT
I have the shorter version of the V-stream by Z technik and it is highly effective at spilling the air around the rider and pillion. Much more so in fact than the standard OEM screen (not sport screen as on Mars red) that my version of SWMBO much prefers the ride when the V stream is fitte...

Rider foot peg lowering options for LC
Advice and feedback on options greatly appreciated .... I would like to lower the rider footpegs on my 18my LC as on longer rides my legs get that scrunched up feeling. I did try Wunderlich kit on my 14my LC but that was a complete disaster. The brake pedal is not adjus...

Auxiliary light switch for LC
I've got a set of Wunderlich micro flooter auxiliary lights which comes with relay, wiring loom and switch. However the kit is let down by a rather cheap looking switch. Can anyone recommend an alternative nice quality switch? Do BMW make one? My bike doesn't have radio so is the...

Re: Calsci screens post 2014
Not a comment on Calsci per say .... I have had the Z-Technic V stream for around 2 years and am very pleased with it. Quiet and very effective at spilling the air away/outwards, no buffeting. Pillion comfort is greatly improved as the envelope includes that area too. T...

Re: Slip-on exhaust for LC R1200 RT
Was at a Triumph dealer yesterday and it would appear the black finish on Arrow cans is prone to marking when hot. So the ally option is better. There is also a titanium option in the pipe line which no doubt will be more expensive but lighter still. Mind you I could save probabl...

Re: Slip-on exhaust for LC R1200 RT
Has anyone tried the Arrow can? Comes in at around £340 on line so is keenly priced.

Re: Windscreen
Has anyone onhere tried the V stream Z Technik sold in uk by bmw-windshields.co.uk ?
They are made by Nationcycle in USA who I believe supply the OEM screens to BM. Blurb looks pretty impressive.
