I was trying to avoid having to run a separate supply from the battery, but if no-one knows of an adapter then that"s what I'll have to do.

I need an adapter to take two plugs from the single power socket as per the photo.  It's not a "cigarette lighter" type socket, nor do i want USB power outlets.

Does anyone know if you can get a double adapter, (i.e. fit 2 plugs into 1 socket), for the auxiliary socket at the top of the left fork? It's getting ludicrous. Trying to get quotes for my son, who is sitting his CBT tomorrow, on a YBR125. Even for just third party it's almost £700. For fully comp they want around £4k - even for a bike worth £1,500. It's not just the cost of the bike that you are insuring, but the cost of the damage...

First time I'd stripped it down, so took my time to get a good look at how everything fits together.
Still, a bl**dy daft design if you can't get to the bulbs to replace them easily.  How do BMW expect you to do it at the roadside unless you've got hands the size of a toddler's?

After a 2 day delay by Royal Mail, my Osram Night Breaker bulbs arrived this morning. Full of optimism, I ventured forth into the garage with a cheery, "I'll only be 10 minutes, love".  Two hours later, having removed the screen and every panel on the front of the bike, the bulbs ...

Hi, One of my H7 dipped headlight bulbs has failed, so I'm looking to replace both as a matched pair. Any recommendations as to the best make / model bulb to use?  I like the idea of some "50% brighter" type bulbs, as I ride a lot on rural roads with no street lighting and little ...

Update; Apparently, BMW's free replacement scheme for switch assemblies came to an end at the end of 2015 and any subsequent cases have to be decided on merit by BMW. Riders of Cardiff applied on my behalf and secured a 50% contribution from BMW to the parts cost of £326, so I will be paying £163 fo...
