For anyone at a future date with the same query the answer is yes you need to loosen of the crash bars to remove the Tupperware. Having done it today the original Police bars will foul the side piece but it is only one bolt so easily done.

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the right hand front fairings with the engine bars in place? I have taken of a standard front fairing, two parts, the larger and smaller. It looks to me if it may be tight to get the larger fairing off due to the crash bars. Has anyone removed the origina...

1200 RTP GPS power supply
on the standard 1200RT there is a 3 pin power supply plug by the headstock that gives you a switched connection for a gps. Does anyone know if it is also there on an RTP variant?

GPS Steering head mount touratech
I recently saw this gps mount on a paramedic R1200RTP. I can not identify the mount that is being used to connect the locking touratech bracket to the bike head. Can anyone suggest a manufacturer or part no? I much prefer the gps mounted here than on top of the instrument cluster.
