I meant actually opening and closing the bags while the alarm is set.RTman10 wrote: Good for you. Your alarm must be very sensitive to go off when you just press the bar button.

Re: Keyless ride
Surely with the ignition off even with your fod in your pocket all the controls on the bars are dead. I know on mine nothing works until I turn the key and I'm nearly sure they didn't on my keyless 1600. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Sorry but you are wrong about this part.&...

Re: Keyless ride
Yes but the ignition has to be on to use the bar button, so its switch on ignition , push button to unlock pannier, switch off ignition. Very straight forward. As for the alarm . I would not use the default setting as it's a pain to unset it if you don't need to use it. ...

Re: Garmin Basecamp Very Difficult to Use
Don't think my V does that. If I leave a saved route for any reason it will attempt to recalculate back onto that route. If however you have missed a waypoint on your detour the recalculation will take you back to that waypoint in the first instance. Yes the Nav V, Zumo 350 &...

Re: The deal is done - New owner of a 2016 BMW R 1200 RT!!!
Those are really cool. I always have the pannier (saddlebags) on my bike because it looks much cooler with than without, so the nets would be really useful for me. Are they a specific kit or did you make them yourself? The nets were generic ones available at most motorcycle dealerships.&a...

Congratulations on the new RT. I use nets on the saddlebag doors to keep things organized. Raingear, gloves & other useful items are always easily accessed. https://c8.staticflickr.com/9/8612/27865922503_2b1d41407d_z.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8068/27865059704_5475a786f3_z.jpg

CB pix. First one is the original bracket that just cleared the rack. Looked good but cannot mount a top case with it. It did not require drilling the rack. The bent piece was on top and the other sandwiched the rack from the bottom. https://farm8.staticflickr...

Re: 2016 RT caught on RT28
Nice pics! Would you mind posting a close up pic of your CB antenna mount and base? Also, what brand and where did you purchase? Thanks! I'll have to take some pics this weekend. CB is a J&M 2003 that I removed from my FJR. CB mount is modified from a C14 Concourse mounted ...
