Re: Annoying things about the R1200/1250RT LC - what are yours?
Really only two. the RT still vibrates too much for a touring model. I’m the only one here with that particular complaint, but after long days my feet and hands have had enough of it. The second: the transmission is clunky. I’m used to a smooth snicking transm...

Re: 2008 RT grips mod
Did you ever try this? Or let me rephrase this: would you be willing to do as you suggest? I asked this question to avoid surprises. I have not tried this, I was discouraged to do so by my dealer. I'm just saying it's possible. Usually, I don't mess with BMW OEM. Other...

Re: 2012 model vs the newer models?
Coming from the Victory, you'll find the RT nimble, capable, and fast. Is quite the change, I hope you've done your research and understand what you're getting into.

Re: AudioUserManual
Maybe I didn't specify, but I've got an LC, the manual is for a 2013 or prior. Maybe some of the same methods, but my main problem is getting the usb or audio jack to recognize my phone. I don't think the earlier ones had the system wired the same way. Sent fr...

Re: 2008 RT grips mod
One can take the OEM grips off, disable the heating element, add an aftermarket heating element like others do to their non-heated grip bikes, then put grips of your choice over them.

Re: AudioUserManual
Where can I find this manual, I don’t see an attachment. For the life of me I can’t figure out how the system works.

Re: Wunderlich Ergo seat
I have a BMW R1200RT-LC. Took it out today for my first long day on it, very comfortable, firm, but for a long day it has just the right support. They even built it with a little extra foam in The front part so I don't slide forward. The OEM is way too soft. T...

Re: Wunderlich Ergo seat
I recently bought a Sargent, built on its own base and has a heat option. It’s a two piece, so you can start with the driver seat, add the passenger later if you like it.

+1. The brake/clutch reservoir one is easy to install.
