Re: What did you do today?

There are, and the short story is that my neighbour (since deceased) should never have attached his building to my detached garage. But he did, and we have to deal with the consequence.

Re: What did you do today?

Had a new garage floor laid.

Now the neighbour has to render their wall before we move on.

Re: Tyre inflators Buyer beware

I've been using a cheap (£9.85) one from AliExpress for over two years. Just to check / top up the tyres before I ride. It copes well and the battery doesn't seem to fade if left unused. I even checked it against an old school pencil gauge and it was surprisingly accurate. It's already lasted longer...

Sorry, I don't think I was very clear. The friend I'm waiting for a recommendation on, isn't on the forum.

I mentioned it on here, so that ORCA RT (who I'm also meeting up with), knows what my plans are.

Will do - I'm just waiting on a friend 'up North' to come up with a recommendation.

Re: Garage Floor Tiles

Thanks for all of your suggestions. After looking at a number of samples, I've ordered 34 square meters of these, plus a few ramps for the front edge. It's difficult to tell the difference between their 'recycled' ones and their original ones, so I went with recycled. They are a bit cheaper. https:/...

Re: Panniers top protectors

BMW sell lower pannier protectors. I have them on my RT. They prevent paint chips from stones which otherwise flick up on the panniers.

Re: Garage Floor Tiles

I've got these down in my garage workshop: https://www.costco.co.uk/search?searchOption=uk-search-all&text=garage%20floor&q=garage%20floor:relevance:brand:Klikflor They were easy to fit and are very hard-wearing. They've been down about 6 years and show no sign of wear. I do have a rubber-b...

Garage Floor Tiles

I'm having a new bigger garage built and am looking at options to cover the concrete floor. I think I've narrowed it down to interlocking PVC tiles and wondered if anyone else has done the same? I think the 'solid' tiles would be better than the foam ones, or the ones that come with a honeycomb back...

Re: Painting costs

Tim kindly had one of my pannier lids resprayed after an unintentional game of 'nudges'!

It cost £150.
