Re: Trouble finding neutral
I just let the clutch out a bit so that the bike rolls forward a few inches. Then it drops right into neutral every time.

Re: Which Sena model to get?
I use and recommend the Sena 20S. I only rarely listen to the built-in radio on the bike, but have, at times. Usually I'm listening to music that I've put on a chip in the Garmin Nav VI. You can charge the Sena at the same time that you're listening to it. I use a very ...

Would one from the US work? I'm pretty sure that maps for your area can be downloaded.

Re: Programming Key Fob, keyless ride
I was able to program my new fob without completely removing the windscreen adjuster. Just removing the two screws at the top of it allowed it to move upwards enough for me to get the fob close enough to the ring for it to program. In the second diagram that Austavia provided, th...

Re: Galaxy S7 Mount & Charge - What should I consider
I'm a fan of the Perfect Squeeze phone mount. The tightening screw is secured with a ball detent so it won't vibrate loose. http://www.hondogarage.com/index.php/product/landing/perfect-squeeze-phone-mount For charging I'd suggest running a USB cable from the US...

Re: Storage Compartment lid Clip, what's it for?
I've been told (or read someplace) that it was to hold early versions (which are much smaller than today's models) of the Iphone and that the other side of the phone would go into the slot in the foam in the bottom of the compartment.

Re: Which disc locks are owners using ??
I use an Abus Granit Detecto X Plus 8077. It has a motion detector alarm. I count on the alarm to remind me that it's there so I don't try to ride off with it still on the disc. I don't pretend that it's going to attract attention to scare off thieves as it's fairly eas...

Re: Where/how to mount a cel phone?
I have a 2011 RT. I replaced one of the screws that holds the handlebars on with a Ram Ball. I use the large Ram mount. To hold the phone I use the Perfect Squeeze from Hondo Garage. I still use a leash 'just in case,' but so far the phone hasn't moved.&nb...

Re: Gas Soldering Iron
If you go this way be sure to keep an extra bottle of butane handy. Sometimes the device leaks, and when you need it, it's empty. I suggest using only top quality butane. The cheaper stuff is not filtered as well and gunk can stop up the internal valves.

Re: Windshield riding speed
I'm 6' 1" and I have my seat in the high position. I usually ride with my windshield all the way down on surface streets. On the freeway I raise it a little bit to reduce turbulence unless it's very hot. Then I want the airflow to keep me cooled down. Abo...

I second the motion! Can't be more embarrassing than the video I put up. We've all got moments like that in our history. I'm currently sitting at home with my leg all strapped u and crutches beside me, having torn a calf muscle last Sunday, putting my GS on its centre-stand in t...

Re: I dropped my bike...
It's been suggested to me to have the passenger start out standing as close as possible to the bike when mounting. This decreases the lever arm when they step up onto the peg, using your shoulder as an assist to pull themselves up and then balance on while they swing a leg over. ...

Re: Heed Engine Crash Bars
Got my bike about two years ago. It had plastic head protectors on it when I got it. I mounted the Wunderlich front protection bars about a year ago, not only for the protection in a drop, but also because I wanted to mount some lights there. When I mounted the front ba...
