Re: GS, GSA VS RT

In Dynamic Mode, does the suspension adapt itself to the road surface conditions, with stiffer damping. Yes. It also adapts to the weight on the bike, you can also set each mode up with different settings like auto for ride height or low and high and then set your own parameters for rain, road, dyn...

Re: GS, GSA VS RT

As I'm hoping to go to some sort of GS(1250 is looking favourable at the mo)next year, interesting thread :thumb: It's good to hear different peoples opinions, I understand that they'll be biased towards the RT on an RT forum just as the would the GS on a GS forum. Both great bikes at the end of the...

GS, GSA VS RT

The GS, GSA vs the RT and in "my" opinion why the GS is better for me bike... Looks? Subjective I know but for me they both look more purposeful and like a bike that can do everything in the real world rather than sit in a wind tunnel. It's a motorcycle after all. Comfort? More leg room, l...

Re: K26 Exhaust Headers

Thanks for that. Camcoat is the company that I used. Buell UK used them too but customers were soon returning their rusty camcoated exhausts Mine haven't rusted and in fairness would be in decent condition if I'd looked after them, I don't though as I only use the bike over winter so the conditions...

Re: ESA

Does this mean that without the ignition on/engine running the F&R suspension is completely solid. No. My understanding is that the rear shock can be bounced up and down like any other mono shock motorcycle. You can only adjust the compression and damping while the engine is running because it'...

Re: Duration of RT Ownership

I prefer my Skoda Yeti over my previous Ford Focus because. 1. Having bad knees the higher Yeti seat allows easier access. 2. The Yeti rear seats are removeable from the car giving a vastly greater luggage area over the Focus. 3. The Yeti 2 litre diesel pulls like a train, returns 50mpg and corners...

Re: Duration of RT Ownership

That doesn't really answer my question now does it. Test Ride not necessary as I have owned a GS so I was particularly interested in how you have formed your own personal opinion. Thanks. By owning 3 GS's whilst owning a 2011 RT and riding the later model RT's for comparison. It's not really rocket...

Re: Duration of RT Ownership

Eight and half years now for my 2011 RT. I only keep it as a winter hack because it's not worth much. I've had 3 GS's in that time (far superior bike) but might be tempted with a 1300 RT when they come out.
