Not used this one as much due to no longer needing to commute everyday to an office. Hope to have more time for riding next year as Im supposed to be working part time now ( Being a miserable old git )

Re: RPM Manageme t
It depends on what I am looking to achieve. The bike is happy anything between 2500 and the red line and yes I am not afraid to hit the limiter . Over about 4k the shift cam works 8-) . Pootling and cruising happy to sit around 3K riding the twisty roads and looking to crack on. 2nd gear and give it...

Hi
The wires plug into the back of the aux socket so you can just unplug to test

Re: Wiring in Innov dashcam
Hi
Yes the set up you suggest would work. As for colours you can always test each wire with a test bulb to earth

Re: Hi from Wiltshire
Welcome
Personally I don't depend on the dash satnav it has dropped out too many time for me I have a tomtom above the dash which at least I know can be depended on. As for the radio not something I find helpful when riding but I appreciate other do.

I found the Michelin RoadPilot 4 to be the noisiest the 5 and 6 progressively quieter. Had Metzler 01 for a while they were OK

Re: Garage Floor Tiles
Hi
I have the plastic floor that looks like decking plate great for keeping the dust down and walking on no so good for using jacks and lifts. Laos it tends to walk a little and I have to reposition it which is a pain
Thinking of having a resin finish instead

Re: Hill start control
Hi You can use the front or rear brake lever to apply and disengage this but you need to pull the brake lever hard to the bars or press hard on the rear. You feel a click and the Hill start brake assist is applied same again to manually disengage the bike must be running with the side stand up. Cheers

Re: Key Barrel
Hi I managed to fit them to a new key but only used 4 of the leaves. However was not totally happy so dropped in on a local dealer and they gave me some, so somewhere I do have quite a number of them spare I can try and find them and post you a few. Word of warning make sure you are 100% sure you ha...

Re: Interchangeability of Windscreens
Hi
The screen changed with the change in the lights goes from 3 holes each side to 2 holes don't think the earlier short screen will fit the later bikes

Hi, Mine came with it I does work but I don't use it often. I find CC on any bike has you alongside other vehicles in their bind spot far too long.

Re: Duty & VAT
Hi They way it should be calculated is the price then add the duty then the VAT on the accumulated figure. Check the duty rate they charged, couriers companies often get it wrong. Goods coming from the EU that are manufactured in the EU are duty free. ( If they originated outside the EU first then t...
