T6 Pilot - This unit has its own battery but it needs to be connected to perm 12v. Current drain wont be a lot but I have it on trickle charger whilst garaged up

I'm looking for the best place to connect a mini GPS tracker onto my 2013 - R1200 RT The chap I go it from already has the connector for the Garmin GPS unit used up so I'm looking for somewhere to plug into for a permanent 12V feed Appreciate any tips as I'm not up with ins and outs of canbus etc T...

Haven't you heard the Repsol Honda replica type racers make their machines backfire using the kill switch?
Don't know what it does to the engines but it certainly doesn't hurt the riders judging by how often they do it!

I have two clamps - one either side of a plastic box which I assume is the 'flap' It seems to be leaking on both sides of the joint so goodness knows what's been going on there. Strip down job tomorrow by the sounds of it which sounds quite straightforward then if there are no gaskets on other trick...

EXhaust leak at Clamp
Hi all,
I have noticed what appears to be a leak at he joint between the exhaust pipe and the back box on my 2013 R1200RT
How common is this as a fault and how easy to fix please?

Doesn't magnesium alloy have the same trait in this respect as aluminium alloy, ie degassing when being cast and porosity problems thereafter? Who on earth manufactures these castings for BMW if this is possibly the cause?? Our Asian friends with naff quality control per chance? Rant over! ;) Exact...
