I had this recently, although temperature differances were not quite as extreame.
It turned out to be a failing lambda sensor.

Re: Gear Change lever
I've got extenders on both gear change and brake from "godzillabikes" on E-bay and they work really well in my opinion.matgriff wrote: Thanks for that, also just seen that there's a guy on ebay who does extenders for the gear change & brake levers for the 2005-2009 models :-)

Re: Kevlar Jeans
I've got a pair of Route One Kevlar Jeans that I got from Infinitys in one of their sales. For the money I paid, they are pretty decent. Had them around a year now and they've stood up well so far. I've worn them through summer and on some colder days without issue. Mine also had a coating on them t...

Re: Low seat or lower suspension
I'm 5'7" nowadays (shrunk a bit after I fractured my spine) and use a low seat and these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Wunderlich-Rider-seat-lowering-kit-black-Part-No-42721-002-/143149319201 which seems to work perfectly for me.Although I'll be getting a BMW Comfort Seat in the next week ...

Re: Trip plans for 2019
Not a huge Tour as such but I'll be heading to the Isle of Man for the TT Practice week.So West Sussex to Liverpool and accross on the Ferry & Back.
Not an epic Journey but it will certainly be the longest I've done for a few years.

Re: Buying into the brand
Used to have a 3 Series but it was a nightmare so I got shot of it after less than 12mths of ownership. Due to the experiance with the local dealer I've never been inclined to buy another.I have a Volvo V60 instead at the minute.

If your bike is a 2018 then it will have the OBD Port. Looks the same as fitted to all cars since around 1996.

Re: Wanted - Older (around 2010) R1200RT
Thanks Guy's I've been keeping an eye on Autotrader & MCN but everything there seems to be noticeably more expensive than equivalent bikes advertised on E-bay for example. In fact there are some Traders / Dealers that have adverts on both with the asking price on the E-bay adds being a few hundr...

Re: Wanted - Older (around 2010) R1200RT
