Re: Torx

The Torx Autosert feature guides the driver bit accurately into the recess creating a self-centering engagement action. Torx Plus is designed for high torque transmission. This means that higher torques can be used to securely tighten fasteners without incurring additional wear and tear on the tool...

Re: Repairing our bikes

Unfortunately the R1250RT does not appear to be listed, but I have emailed them to ask if they can supply.

Re: Exhaust flapper valve does not cycle at ignition ON.

Why not use the GS-911 to perform a service function on the valve and watch it to see if it all moves freely? Better still remove the cables and the controller and replace it with one of these https://www.healtech-electronics.com/products/ese Hi Sakm, I'm not sure that it is possible to run a test ...

Exhaust flapper valve does not cycle at ignition ON.

Hi Guys, I recently had the headers and flapper valve replaced under warranty for my 2019 R1250RT, as the valve had seized and was generating fault codes. Using a GS 911 yesterday, I note there are no fault codes showing but the flapper valve does not cycle when the ignition is turned on (as it prev...

Re: I hit a pothole the other day.....

No need to buy a new wheel as there is a good chance that damaged wheel can be repaired. I did the same a couple of years ago and the repair I had was almost invisible and cost was in the region of £200 including respray. I would have to search for the name and address of the company that repaired m...

Re: ### Bluetooth Receiver For Factory Audio System Video 2020 R1250RT ###

Well, to answer my own question, I bought one of the Bluetooth transmitter/receivers similar to the one suggested by Motor 32 and it works a treat. Music from Spotify can be downloaded via a Samsung phone and can be played either through the speakers or through a BMW Evo helmet. The whiz wheel can b...

Re: ### Bluetooth Receiver For Factory Audio System Video 2020 R1250RT ###

Hi Old Git.....is it possible to listen to music streamed from your phone using a BMW helmet with this device? This is the $1,000,000 question! As I understand it, the BMW helmet uses an old version of Bluetooth, and I'm guessing this will not be compatible, but the problem of streaming Spotify on a...

These look to be a great idea for accessing music from your phone. I'm guessing I could play Spotify through my helmet? Has any else bought one?

Re: ### 2020 R1250RT Leaking Front Brakes After Recall Video ###

Hi Guys,

Shortly after delivery of my 2019 R1250RT I did notice what could only be described as a 'slight but definite seepage' of brake fluid on the front rim and RHS caliper. I cleaned it off and kept an eye on it, but the issue did not return.

Cheers
