The Wunderlich Bars are German TUV approved, and some what clumsy to install, they will save you a lot of money if the bike falls.

Since you have the narrow police pannier lids you can go on line a buy some full size lids, also the liner concept is a rip off as after you fill them up now you have the chore of trying to stuff them in the pannier. BMW in it's wisdom as done riders a dirty trick, in that when you switch to high beams, the voltage to low beam drops to 6 volts! If you switch to LED's or HID's this can ruin them in minutes, so you'll need a fuse block directly wired to the battery, with a trigger connected to...

I have a '14 RT with shift assist, and found that going up that you clutch shift from 1st to 3rd, then use the shift assist to 6th. But when going down, back off the throttle and you can down shift with the shift assist all the way to first.
