Re: Russell vs Sargent - overall comfort, shoulder pain & distance to bars?
My last bike was an 2016 RT with a Russell seat. I am kind of the opposite of you at 6’5, 250lbs but I experienced the same pain. I found that by having the bars not at the right height for my posture was the issue. The Russel raised my seat up about 2” which was great ...

Re: Prepare for a shock....
All is well with my 2016 after 2years of riding. Thought I would spray some ACF50 in there. The badge seems to seal ok.

Re: Shoei NeoTec 2
I'm at work so can't. Can you post a picture of your strap? I have, well, let's say an 'ample' amount of extra material under my chin and my strap is only about halfway. By this I mean that the metal hoop the strap run through is sitting about halfway between the lid and the male part of the buckle...

Re: Shoei NeoTec 2
I tried to loosen it as much as possible but I ran out of strap. I’m going back to the shop on Saturday and will see if I can adjust the buckle. Can you post a picture of your strap in the fully loosen position?

Shoei NeoTec 2
I tried on the new neotec and it was a great fit except for the chin strap. Does anyone else find it tight or is it just my double chin?

Re: Headlight Protectors
I looked at the aero flow. The price was $144 plus shipping. I then went to r&g and with shipping from the UK it was 71 pounds. Which is about 102$. I ordered on Saturday the 28th and it was out for delivery today. Great prices and service!

Re: Cardo smartpack
I bought the cardo smartpack about a yr ago, had nothing but issues with it. Tried persevering with it but boy does it frustrate me. For the life of me I can’t connect a second Bluetooth device such as a satnav, when I try it disconnects the first device, being my phone. Downloaded the latest softw...

Re: ACF 50 Service
Thanks all. I found a u-tube on the Krown product where they took piece of metal and attached them to a truck. They then treated 2 of the pieces and left 2 untreated. He then would wash his underside every week taking off a untreated piece and a treated piece. ...

ACF 50 Service
Hi, I know that my UK Brethren can get a complete ACF50 spray service. Can someone tell me how they do it? Do they spray the whole bike then wipe it down or just spray the engine and let it drip dry? I have it in a can and I sprayed the engine only and wiped i...

Re: Helite Airbag Safety Vest
Hi, I'm about to pay out approx €600 on a Helite airbag safety vest (turtle model) see photo attached. I have seen the videos, read up on the blurb so I am aware of all the good points. My question is what are the bad points, if any? I’m about to do the same thing here in the states. The negative t...

Re: BMW S 1000 XR
Cycle world did a nice comparison between the s1000xr and the Ducati multistrada. The s1000 blew the doors off the Ducati on the track but the Ducati did much better on the trails because of suspension travel and it was nicer for the touring segment. More comfortable, better wind protection. Sent fr...

I sent a support ticket in. I’ll see before I downgrade the unit. I wonder if it is a beta release because of the lack of documentation.Casbar wrote: I haven't upgraded, didn't know there was one. Think I'll hang on

Cardo Pack Talk
Hi, I recently upgraded to the version 4.0 software. Now the Cardo app doesn’t connect and the button functions have changed. Has anyone else done this?
Thanks.

Re: Cheap audio?
Have never owned a cell phone (mobile) nor any digital music devices, but am willing to buy an I pod or its ilk. But is there any way, short of helmet-integrated earphones, etc. that I'll get enough volume at 80 mph on the interstate as I cross the U.S. this summer? Don't want t...
