Re: Touring
Might be a daft question! But what sort of costs are associated with these type of trips lol something general will do lol Unless you would like to offer a rough brake down , we would love to do something worthwhile, but assume it's quite expensive.

Re: Top case and panniers ... How much can they take?
I can't believe all that gear was packed in/on the bike . I take it all that stuff is in bags, like pannier bags, I think I might have to do a practice pack!! For when we eventually get away. Great topic and a great help thanks.

Nice pics. Shame about the weather. I take it you are all solo riders, noticed no panniers but top boxes, assume it helps in traffic not to have panniers!

Re: Top Box BMW and Givi - Back Rest

Something told me it should not be such a sloppy fit on the Rack but heyho. I must say it's an art to get the short legg...

Re: 1200rt 2005 (servo) Advice, GS911, Servive gap, etc!
Cheers chaps, I am confident with most of the other servicing, the shop serviced it, plugs, oil and filters, prior to puschasing, but they are not a service shop, only on the bikes they sell, and will stamp the book up! I was thinking its was right to get it in somewhere, just need to find a good se...

1200rt 2005 (servo) Advice, GS911, Servive gap, etc!
Hi, oh most wise BMW guru's! I have had the RT 1200 2005 for a few weeks now, (already been done speedingπ©) and absolutely loving it, I have received surprising and finally the service book from Cannon BMW, that servicing stops at 25k mileage. I bought at 32k ! I can't assume what the last owner did...
