BMW R1200RT SE 2010
Since passing my car test in march I'm no longer using my RT for what I initially bought it for which was super comfortable and reliable long distances either on my own or with the mrs. Now the Mrs has fully converted to sitting in a car, therefore I'm looking to downsize and get something that will...

Re: Stainless Steel Caliper Pins
Looking at your posts, would these have been for a 2010 TC RT. If so, please can you help to identity which are the correct F&R pins for my 2012 TC RT. From Shawstainless website, the photo of the rear pin doesn't show the split steel slotted retaining spring as per OEM pin. Shawstainless https...

Re: Stainless Steel Caliper Pins
I changed my front and rear calipers to stainless bolts and pins from shawstainless around 15,000 miles ago. I've ridden in all weathers and they still look as good as new whereas the bmw ones corroded easily. I would highly recommend them, also the guy who sells them is very helpful and knowledgeab...

Re: Riding a 2018 RT after 10k on a 2010 TC
Sorry to hear the troubles you've had with your RT. I've had four different RTs and I hope it's some comfort to hear that, so far, each one has been better (and with fewer issues) than the last. The 2017MY is great ! I think it has a lot to do with the fact it was a 1 owner bike before I ...

Re: Riding a 2018 RT after 10k on a 2010 TC
I've only ridden 1 rt and that's my '11. I love everything about it but would really like more power. As it is, it boogies right along but rather pedestrian as it lumbers up to speed. I pretty much know for a fact that I'd want to sell or trade mine in on a '14 or newer if I rode one. Precisely why...

Riding a 2018 RT after 10k on a 2010 TC
I've just gotta say wow. I was loaned a 2018 RT LE whilst mine is in for some warranty repairs. It's like everything I love about mine but better. The engine is super smooth, is noway near as picky about gears and the quickshifter is superb. It definitely feels far less agricultural however potentia...

Re: Accessing inside headlight unit
Remove the headlight unit, remove the bulbs and shake out the foreign material, which may be a piece from a broken bulb. May be slightly different from yours, but my 08 is about 1 hour work.Done that to replace the bulbs with HID's Just something to think about... Hi, thanks for your reply. Is remo...

Accessing inside headlight unit
Hi, is it possible to access inside the glass on my 2010 twincam RT? There's some foreign material of some sort that I would like to clean out.
Many thanks

Re: Advice to purchase an R1200RT 2008-2014
Highly recommend the twincam. Mines a 2010 SE and has been bullet proof so far, starts and runs in all conditions I've thrown at it. Carries massive amounts of luggage, me and my Mrs without complaints. Only thing I've had to add is a Sargent seat and a fender extender. It comes pretty tricked out f...

Are you the seller, quite a few of your items appeal to me if you fancy doing a deal outside of ebay so no fees.

Re: Wanted : infill panels
if you want the little panel that for some reason likes to fall off I have one spare in garage forget which side it is though. any offer plus postage I would be wanting both sides, thanks though. Oh and it's for a TC RT so it's the silver infill panels I'm after. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Sadly for me £50 is a bit more than next to nothing hence why I thought I best try my luck on here.RTman10 wrote: Pyramid Plastics make or did for next to nothing.

Hi, does anybody have any of the aftermarket infill panels that are available for the RT? The ones that are next to the pillion pegs.
I'm in Scotland.
