Latest in low beam bulbs

Just noticed both low beam bulbs are burned out. Have replaced the factory with HID bulbs. Much brighter, and had them for 7 years at least, so no complains there. Was wondering what is better these days for a 1200RT?

Re: Dashcam position

Just installed my Innovv C5 and strange picture. Curved edges. Any thoughts? Is inside garage looking out. This is a dash cam, intended to capture as much as possible, intended for traffic situations. Is not your video cam intended for your memory archives.  The picture is in closed locati...

Re: 2009 R1200RT Riding comfort issues

Airhawk helps, but the sheepskin makes a world of difference, at least for me. Cool on summer days, warm in cooler weather. Can have the Airhawk under it, yet i am happy just with the sheepskin. Purchased at https://alaskaleather.com/products/medium-sheepskin-buttpad and would not go long distance w...

Re: 2009 R1200RT Riding comfort issues

You just may be to close to the handle bars. Try sitting as far back as you can. If you had a previous bike that you felt more comfortable, check your position on that bike compared to the RT on this site http://cycle-ergo.com/ Feel in your sizes, bring the other bike in as well, and compare. Hope t...

It is always easy to misunderstand! Am not criticizing any country,
am just pointing out  something that you may know to be true.

Re: R1200RT Cafe Racer

Yes, and it is still pig ugly. it is not the quality of the product we are making observations on, it is the form it takes. So given the same amount of money you still have choices about the shapes generated. However, someone likes it, and I guess that's what matters. Did it sell? So...

Re: R1200RT Cafe Racer

I don't recall anyone criticizing the artists technical ability, because it does actually look well finished. The consensus here, which I have to agree with is that thing is pig ugly. If you went to a restaurant and were served a plate of dog @#~*, would you tell the chef it was amazing so as not t...

Re: R1200RT Cafe Racer

Is always easy to criticize other people's work. But can you compare his work with yours? By reading that add, i see it is from Lithuania. There, parts, as well as money are less available than where most of you critics live! You have no idea how much superior he is to you, regarding bikes!! ok, ne...

Re: R1200RT Cafe Racer

Did any of you ever think that maybe a young boy bought the bike that was totaled and rebuilt it as cheap as he could afford? I kinda see my self, if i was 18 now, to make a bike just like that! I see nothing wrong with that! Not everybody can afford a brand new BMW. And more over, is probably clean...

Re: Attaching a Forward Camera

I lost one bar end, and, instead of paying a small fortune for a replacement. made a pair out of Stainless Steel. As i finished them,  just occurred to me to drill and tap for a ram ball. The factory bar end may be hard, and may not be possible to drill and tap. If you have a friend machini...

Re: Attaching a Forward Camera

My friend, i agree that Wunderlich is overpriced! Is not your only choice, so you don't have to buy their product! On the other hand, you are wrong. Wunderlich  IS paying for the design, prototype, production mold and advertising. Is not a product that can be mass produced, therefore recove...
