Re: Engine Crashbars

If ground clearance is important to you, you may want to reconsider the Heed's.  I had to remove mine as the risk was just to much.

Re: 7 Jurock Windscreen for R1200Rt

Website shows three different heights.  Which one do you have?  I may be interested if the shipping isn't too high.

Re: Speeding fines in France

Just curious, if you never planned to visit France or any other country other than the one you live, what happens if you never paid the fine?  Are there agreements between countries to enforce the fine payment?

Is there any difference in lean angles between the 1200 and 1250?

Re: Newb, but not a newb

Welcome from the other side of the Appalachian Mountains.  I bought 2018 last spring.  Been thru 8 sets of tires and a full set of brakes.  I have 15,000 on it now, so soon, I also will get the hang of it.  Enjoy yours!

Re: USA guys - where you buy GS-911 and other tools/parts?

Late on the subject but thought I would add my 2 cents.  I also bought my GS-911 from the beemershop.  Great folks there.  What persuaded my decision to get the device, was, if I understand this correctly, it is needed to bleed the brakes properly, because of the ABS motor...

Re: 2016 RT With A Rear Car Tire

Wow, you guys were pretty hard on the Yank.  What was he thinking?  Running a CT on a R1200?  Do you think you are giving up so much handling and grip running the set up you are using now?  I would like to show a video from last year on this very subject.&nbsp...

Re: Week 1 on my new R1200RT

No holes drill into the speaker cover.  I used that screw in the lower left corner of the cover and some double sided 3M emblem/badge tape. Also, I wired in the USB power port right off the battery in case I needed to continue recording or charge the battery.  You are correct, batt...

Re: Week 1 on my new R1200RT

Looks like you've mounted the camera on the left handlebar. I like the angle. Can you share a picture of the mounting? Also I noticed very little wind noise. Were you able to filter it out or did you use an external microphone? No external mic.  Mount is a cross between RAM and homegrown.
