Re: RT LC rear brake pedal lowering
I bought that pricey Illium piece for my 2015 RT two years ago. Works fine, but I wish I had looked for the Wunderlich piece!

Re: Changing UP from 2nd... and going into 1st!
I also switched oils on my 2015 RT at the 30,000-mile oil change...but from Advantec 5W-40 to Liqui-Moly 5W-40. Shifting smoothness was better in all changes. I do have the Shift Asst. Re: Ztechnik-V-Stream-R1200RT-LC-2013-on-touring-screen Z
I've had the Z-Technik on my 2015 RT for 25,000+ miles now. It's so efficient at routing the air around me that I rarely raise it. One minor negative is that when I do raise it some in colder weather, it decreases the fuel efficiency by about 5%. Other than that, for me it's great. Also, in hot (90+...

Re: Unusual Tyre wear?
Michelin has a new model coming out "Road 5." Seems they've dropped "Pilot" from the name. Supposed to be available now, but it'll probably take some time for the supply to build up. See: http://www.motorcycle.com/features/mich ... -2018.html

Re: 2008 RT
Have the bike for 2 years now, and like it more than when I bought it. Some say that if you park your bike and walk away without looking back, you bought the wrong bike! How true that is!! Well, I certainly think it goes well beyond looking back at it. I have such affection for my RT that I ...

Great looking RT! Looks like the Natchez Trace Parkway there behind it.
