Re: Power Commander
If your using auto tune you are already building your own map. If you haven’t watched the video on how to extract the auto tune map and insert it into your PCV it’s worth watching. That’s the beauty of having auto tune.

Re: Engine crash bars with aux lights
Thank you for the input guys - I will probably go with the Illium bars. I like the fact that you dont have to remove them for service, something I had not thought of.

Engine crash bars with aux lights
i have a 2018 RT and I would like to install engine crash bars. All that I have looked at say will it work with factory aux lighting ?
Will this require the removal of the factory light brackets and fit new ones to the engine guards or does someone have something that would work with the lights?

Re: Power Commander
For the US guys - I have used the PCV with auto tune on a number of my bikes in the past with great results. I almost purchased one for my RT. I found a BMW performance retailer in Arizona who reflashes your ECU. Stock numbers for the 2018 RT are advertised at 125 / 92 with the reflash they say it’s...

Re: Air Filters...
I don’t like the cotton / gauze filters that require oil. It just sucks the oil into the throttle bodies gumming them up. A quality paper filter works best. IMHO

Factory LED lights added - don’t work
i have a 2108 R1200RT and I added the factory LEDs and they don’t turn on. I bought the lights, wiring harness and handlebar switch from BMW thinking it’s plug and play ..... guess not. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
