My '18 did that, bmw bought it back, they threw parts at it for 4 months then gave up and gave me a refund.  Check where the throttle plugs in near the grip, make sure it clicks in, sometimes that's all it takes.

Does it shut down?  Does it go away after restart?

Since when do Harleys have brakes that actually work? :))

I dunno, my 18 doesn't have those either.

It probably shuts it off if you have the fob near it.  My problem is that it goes off randomly while parked in my garage at night for no reason.

I have the mob armor, it's nice but I have Illium risers to clamp it to, I had to modify the clamp when I used it without the risers, ground the clamp a little narrower.  I can pop it off and use it on my other bikes or my bicycle.  It fits my iPhone 7+ and will take a bigger or sm...

If you use Google Maps they do, just download your area where you'll be, (I have all of California loaded on mine) you don't even need to use data or buy a cell phone plan if the phone has GPS built in, which most do.  Google offline maps are great, they won't show traffic updates offline ...
