Has anyone got any usable coil stick/packs they don't need I'm in need of a set. I'm not working at present so to spend £200 + is out f the question.

Front Brake lever not returning
Hi all
I have a 2008 R1200RT-P, when appling the front brake I have to push it back with my fingers to return it to the stop position. The feel of the brake can vary when applied. Has anyone experienced this ? ABS motor has been replaced and ABS system fully operational.

2008 RTP ABS - Fiesta pump replacement
I run a R1200RTP. The brake failure light is on and I've had the system check at a dealer Coopers in Tunbridge Wells Kent. So the unit is faulty and needs attention. I have read that you can replace the unit with a Ford Fiesta unit. I hav...

Engine Noise on acceleration when hot
I have a 2008 R1200RT-P with 54,000 mls. I had a R1100RT prior, My issue is that when riding although bike performs very well I have a noise that sounds like an overtight chain running over a dry sprocket type noise. (it's the only way I can discribe it) I have bought this bike recently and covered ...

Re: Noise on acceleration when up to temp
Hi Peter Thanks for replying. Yes I have an R1100RT too. This bike does have crash bar ex MET bike. Super unleaded is that normal for these to run on ? bike feels solid and pulls well, the noise is like an exhaust blow from the header like a gasket missing the sort of fut fut fut sound on tickover o...

Noise on acceleration when up to temp
I have just taken delivery of a 2008 R1200 ZRTP. 54500 miles On acceleration (when up to temp) I get a noise like exhaust header is loose or the timing chain is loose you could describe it as a clatter too. When you come off the throttle you can't hear it. Engine performs as it should. I w...
