I have a 2015 registered R1200 RT LC LE The problem I have is that the central locking has stopped working of the button on the handlebars. and also the alarm system is not working. it seems a coincident that they have both stopped. I am wondering if a fuse has blown? but do Can-bus system bikes hav...

Re: Wunderlich Engine Crash Bars and Denali Auxiliary Lights
I purchased the wunderlich forward crash bar for my 2015 R1200RT. After reading this I am wondering what the challenge will be when I go to put them on I fitted a set of Wunderlich engine bars and fairing top protection bars to my 2015 R1200 RT a month or so ago, the engine bars...

Re: HANDLE BAR ADJUSTERS
Thanks. So can you line them up back towards you or only as far as in line? Good luck finding your throttle issue. They can be angled back a very small amount, but are more of an inline thing. You have to be careful that the hydraulic hoses are not pulled to tight, check full lock in both directions...

Re: No throttle on 2015 R1200 RT LC
First of all thanks for all the advice, but lets clear up a small misunderstanding. The battery was never disconnected . What was disconnected were the 3 plugs on the right hand side multifunction switch. When I finished the installation of the handle bar risers and reassembled the switch, and plugged...

Re: HANDLE BAR ADJUSTERS
Does anyone know if the wunderlich risers are multi adjustable? Description says it can be "adjusted in it's angle" does that mean adjusted on the original bar mount or just the position of the switchgear? https://www.nippynormans.com/r1200rt-lc-2014-on/wunderlich-risers-r1200rt-lc-r1250r...

No throttle on 2015 R1200 RT LC
I have just fitted a set of Wunderlich handle bar risers and took the right hand handlebar switch gear and throttle off the bars. I have now fitted it all back on the bike with the 3 plugs reconnected in the correct positions ,but I have no throttle. The central locking, ride mode and stop buttons ...

Re: Power to a st605 GIVI tank bad.
Thanks for the replies; Being new to BMW and this canbus lark, I was not sure what the deal was for pulling power out of the canbus plug. I wondered if you had to have a special bit of kit in your phone charging wiring to stop the canbus system going into error. But as pointed out so long...

Re: Retired or about to retire?
As a "youngster" I used to go touring on a GPZ900R, then a GTR1000, then a FJR1300. I traded the FJR for a 2007 R1200RT in 2008 and I'm now on my fourth RT. :) I turned 65 in 2012 and retired in 2015, so having a R1200RT and being retired is just a coincidence for me.&...
