A little help from the wise ones please

Hi. Had noticed the lid on my top case never seemed to close properly, driving my ocd mad lol. Checking to day I noticed one part of the locking mechanism was not working. So, went to remove the inner section on the case but for the life of me I cannot work out how to get it out. Have removed all th...

Re: Sheepskin Seat Cushion Pad

Hi. Only thing would double check is that it is cut to suit your bike. I bought one before, although not of this seller, and it was nothing more than what looked like an off cut from some mat. Dog got it in the end

Thanks Sakm. Had them built before noticing your reply, but set the air screw as you suggested.

Re: Fork service

Pleased to report the wee job is going well. One last question. Do you wait until you have the wheel back on and her sitting on own weight, then release the air screw then tighten it, or does it make much difference

Fork service

First of all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. Decided to give the fork a bit of an overhaul as it was the only job I didn't do when I got the bike. One of the forks had obviously been worked at before as the fluid was fairly clean. The other one I have seen better stool samples, including ...

Re: Nearly there

So it looks like it slides down past the locking mechanism. Will give that a try. Thanks

Re: Brake servos running on

Hi David. Thanks for the reply. I have a funny feeling that the ABS has not been removed, despite what i was told, but may have been repaired at some stage. My reasoning being I don't think the ABS can be removed without also removing the servos. The noise i am getting sounds live the servo 'running...

Brake servos running on

Hi. Sorry to be a newbie starting with a question. Recently bought a 2005 R1200RT after having a break away from bikes for a couple of years. I believe the ABS has been bypassed, I know there is paperwork for it in the folder I got with the bike. Problem started yesterday. Short run out and noticed ...
