Could it be the battery is low and like so many vehicles it looks at things to shutdown to save voltage. Yes - that's crossed my mind too. In fact, the manual specifically says it has a low voltage cut out but - why would it work when you turn off/on the ignition? I don't know h...

I've only just seen this response thanks Gadgetgaz - I'll check out the fan but, if I turn the ignition off and on, the radio comes back on and stays on! Buggered if I can work it out.

Hi all My 2007 RT preload setting is stuck on one helmet. The GS-911 reports a "short circuit fault" in the rear ESA. I've traced the wiring to 3 plugs under the RHS side fairing and I assume the 3 plugs represent the damping motor, the preload motor and the preload pot...

My only experience is with a K1300S but if the RT is similar, there is a thin bolt running all the way through the hand grip and the bar just under the internal edge of the rubber grip. The K bike had a Torx head to the bolt and a nut on the other side. You have to peel back the ...
