Re: Help Identifying Power Sockets
Hi David...I'll take a look after work but my bike does not have a security system or tire pressure monitor so it looks like it supports just power to either. From the other thread, it looks like the capped connector under the front fairing is for auxiliary lights then?
Thanks,
Gary
Thanks,
Gary

Re: Help Identifying Power Sockets
Hi David...i took a bunch of fairing off today to install some cylinder protectors and was able to see the top plug was for all the headlights and there definitely no aftermarket oil cooler. You helped figure out the navigation plugs (thanks!) but I noticed there’s actually a third capped ...

Re: Help Identifying Power Sockets
Thanks David...hugely helpful! Any recommendations on repair or maintenance manuals that would be good to have? The dealer repair manual may be too extensive for a noob like me.

Re: Help Identifying Power Sockets
I believe the bike is stock and with no police equipment...the bike is actually silver but the tail rack in the picture makes it look white. I’ll have to look into the oil cooler situation. The bike does have the nav cradle with the 4 buttons...does the cradle use both the white ...

I missed your request for a pic...sorry about that. I’ll get the 80mm tall bracket and see how it goes. Thanks for the help and research.

Re: Using Garmin cradle for iPhone
David, it’s like your second picture with the 4 buttons. I’m trying to figure out if something like this will work but the RT is not listed as compatible. Sure looks like it might work

Using Garmin cradle for iPhone
I would like to use my mobile for navigation on my 2013 1200RT, currently with a Garmin IV cradle. I see there are adapters for mobile phone that will make this pretty easy but they don’t say it’s specifically compatible with ‘13 RTs or a Garmin IV. Are the Garmin cradles identic...

Passenger seat heater wont turn off
I just bought a used 2013 R1200RT with only 5,600 miles. The bike is amazing and everything has been in perfect working order until today when the passenger seat heater wont turn off. The grip switch cycles the front seat low/high settings but the rear shown always on. ...
