Best year for a 1200RT is 2007. I’ve owned 2. Easy to maintain and very dependable.

I gotcha. I’m 64 and my wife decided she wanted to ride with me again but she hated the RT as a passenger hence my reason for changing. I do miss the handling of the RT but love the power and smoothness of the K bike.

Replaced my key battery myself for $1. My own service for less than $50. I’m cheap.

Seat is in VERY good condition as you can see in pictures. There is a small spot that is on the back part (see arrow) that was repaired. Taken off my 2007 RT. Sold RT and went to K1600. Seat has heat, plugs right in to the BMW plug and works off bikes heater control. This is for “Driver Seat” only....
