We toddled off to the Super Sausage for a cup o' cha, and then onto Willen Lake for a picnic. Lovely!

Re: Today didn't pan out quite as expected.
Yep - that sounds like a ride I had recently. Ran out of fuel - even though display said all was ok - 49 miles of fuel left. Abs light came on and then the ESA failed. Two trips back to Motorbikes 4 All, and a new feul strip, much work to braking system and a new rear shock (or reconditioned one) fr...

Re: 2009 fuel gauge, possible sensor problem
My 207 1200rt ran out of fuel in London, shortly after I got the bike. Very embarrassing. I had to wander around the corner to get a new fuel can (£15) and 5 litres of juice. I took it back to the supplying dealer and they replaced the fuel strip (apparently they do this to virtually every one of th...

My 2007 1200RT normally gets 58-65 depending on whether I load tent, camping equipment and missus onboard. This can increase the weight by at least 150 Kg

Re: Oldtimers service what a joke !!
I really wouldn't worry too much at this stage; I've ordered several things from Ebay and Amazon over the last few weeks and I have to say that delivery times are sporadic at best. Things which are advertised as UK stock often seem to take the longest. Also, it is my experience that many companies a...

Re: Finding excuses for a ride?
Shopping - I can fit over £120 worth of shopping in my big box, panniers and tank bag. It's quite fun deciding which supermarket to shop in, and they're all about the same distance 8-12 miles from my home. There is no decent supermarket in the town in which I live and my wife needs a specific diet, ...

Re: Hello Everyone!
Thank you all for your kind welcome! Just to let you know that me and the missus went down to Tescos at Banbury yesterday evening and squeezed in £123.00 worth of shopping in to the old girl including a ten bottle box of Corona. I had to take the bottles out of the box though. I think with the missu...
