Re: Location of Photosensor for DRL / Low Beam

funny you mention this, I was out on my RT on Saturday and noticed the low beam on a lot more than normal.... probably just the dull day?

Re: r1300 engine noiuse

Ive seen it but not heard it running, he intially liked it better than his RT, then was finding the riding position not quite right for him, he raised the bars but before he could get a few miles on it the suspension packed up... been with dealer for a few weeks now, waitin...

Re: r1300 engine noiuse

Thats not good to hear, my only gripe with my 1250RT is the rattly engine noise...... thinking of gettng the modified cam chain tensioner fitted but now thinking they cant be quieten'd down.... could go the other way and fit a loud exhaust

Indicators always on

Not my RT but a mates Honda, went for a run with him and noticed that his front indicators are permanently lit? Obviously the one flashes when he indicates. I didn’t think this was legal, done a googly and found this Technically the indicators that are always on are illegal in the UK. Law states tha...

Re: New Chigee version on the way

Watching with interest, but I haven’t seen anyone showing it working with the non lcd screen rt. all the videos I have seen show the lcd and the long press on the menu button to switch from the lcd to the nav….
If anyone has it on the earlier 1250 would be good to see..

Re: Preaching to the converted.

You asked about the fairing socket for charging, I bought an optimate apparently it wakes up the can bus and allows charging through the socket….. all above my pay grade but seems to work.

Re: Multi Bike Insurance UK

I am with Carole Nash for two bikes. I don't find it any cheaper than having two seperate policies. I would like to split them into two policies but that means starting at zero no claims bonus again on one of the policies. I may be wrong but you don’t just start at zero no claims….. you always will...

sounds like a reasonable deal considering where car insurance is... do you know how much your saving by having a multi vehicle policy?
