Re: Connected app and paired helmets

How many bluetooth channels do the headsets have? If you only have one channel then you can only have one bluetooth device connected If you have two then you need to figure out how to connect to the second channel as it sounds to like you're connecting everything to the same channel hence why it kic...

Re: Charging

I would stick to what you have if it works fine and fit some pigtails to the battery so you can plug it in easier

Although if you're not confident it's an intelligent charger you might not want to leave it plugged in permanently and you might want to replace it if that's what you're intending to do

Re: Denali CanSmart/HexCan needed to use B6 Brakelight?

No

Providing you can find the feed to the rear lights you should be able to tap into it

For the small amount an LED light would draw it won't make a blind bit of difference

Re: Pre-purchase question - deffered maintenance

I'm on 37k without a single valve needing adjustment so far

@Boxflyer will probably be best placed for answering how often these bikes need their valves adjusting also it might be worth seeing how close he is to you and maybe using him to get it all serviced and up to date

Re: Survey of RT mileages

Just updated to 37,000 on my 2018. My wife recently commented that I’m using the RT far more than my previous ST1300…. working it out (and including 2 Covid years with lockdowns) I’m putting about 7,000 a year on the bike. Good point! Just updated mine! Same mileage too and averaging the same per y...

It's probably more to do with the way the telelever suspension works than anything else

There is hardly any movement on mine too

David. wrote: Sun Nov 17, 2024 5:51 pm The simple answer is, don't share routes and use a group riding system to navigate the route for all.

Just ensure that all have the known P&T stops (waypoints).
So that makes this whole thread pointless then!

I have found a great route but I'm not sharing it :?

Re: North East 250 (Scotland)

I'm using enough waypoints and shaping points in Garmin BaseCamp to create my bespoke route and use it successfully with my Garmin Zumo 660. If I join the 2 routes to create the full NE 250, then create a track, the track has 3,531 points. if you want to share routes you need to think others and th...

Re: North East 250 (Scotland)

When sharing routes, I find that it's best to keep them in the Garmin BaseCamp .gdb format and email to each other. Converting to/using alternative route planning software usually screws them up. That's because you're not using enough waypoints Each software has its own way of calculating routes an...
