Re: Typical wait for service in the US?
My dealer had a 7 week wait for first service. I did my own oil/filter and rear spline lube when it was due and had them sign off the rest of the run in check when they were able to. They charged $325 for the balance of the work which took about 20 minutes. I watched my bike go in and out. I'll just...

Re: Phone Battery Life with GPS & Music
I guess the case is just thick enough that it doesn't charge. It does fit in the compartment with the case.

Re: Phone Battery Life with GPS & Music
Charging works great plugged in. I like that I don't have to take the case off and the charging is faster than even map mode drains it.

Re: Phone Battery Life with GPS & Music
The map mode seems to kill my battery the most. I can tell it makes my phone hot if I leave it in my pocket. I just let it connect and do it's thing and then end map mode. My S22 does work with the wireless charger, but only with the case off, so I use a 6 inch right an...

Re: 2021 RT headset connection issues with Cardo Packtalk
Well, I just tinkered with it, and it appears you cracked the nut. I ran through about 4 cycles of on/off and was able to get it connected all 4 times. I did have to do one more thing - I had to mess with the media output settings on my phone. I'll play with it a little...

2021 RT headset connection issues with Cardo Packtalk
Has anyone else used a Cardo Packtalk Bold with an RT with the new TFT successfully? Currently, if I do get it to connect for audio, I have to turn the ignition on, let everything connect, and then shut it off and back on again to get audio through my headset. I do not have the C...

Re: New R 1250 RT owner.
I've done 20+ years of riding and modifying HDs to try and make them what I wanted them to be with suspension and engine mods. All I had to do was buy the RT and ride it. Almost 6000 miles in the 9 months I have had the RT and I'll never go back.

Re: Balancing your own Tires
I do the same with a no-mar balancer for the same reason - its a hassle getting them done at a shop. Send me a set of new hoops and I'm mounted, balanced, and riding in a couple of hours.

Re: New seat for 2021 RT
Fair point. And I will say the Sargeant seat is still far more comfortable than the stock seat, it is just very firm. I wonder if there is a difference between low and standard height too...

Re: New seat for 2021 RT
I have the Sargeant low with heat on my 21 RT and it is very hard. I'll probably add an airhawk cushion for the long hauls. I did 5 days on the bike this past season, and the last pull of 450 miles was pretty brutal.

I had been using glass cleaner that is safe for tint and a microfiber but recently installed a screen protector. The glass cleaner still works well.

Re: Rear-gear oil capacity for 2021 1250RT
I was only able to find a 2019 manual, which lists 180ml. I measured what I drained out of my 2021 RT with a mix cup and measured 200ml.

Re: Motoscan with 2021 RT
Thank you David and Sally. Update on the motoscan issue for others who might be curious. They were not aware of the change, so I sent logs to them so that they can get it in the next release, which is looking like it might be in August.
