Re: Spots

They look like Denali S4 lights. If you are flogging them I might be interested.

Re: Is my final drive going bad?

Once my Michelins RP 5’s and 6’s wear then I get a humming noise from them. Once changed it went so that might be what you have. Change the tyres first I’d say then see what you have.

Re: Zumo XT

I have the 3D adapter and if I’m removing the XT I just press the button on top of the dash and remove the whole thing. Easy. The actual XT release is hidden by the upper dash panel so if you can get to it and take the XT off the mount is left.

Re: Near Miss Thread

The two on the stolen bike were in Norfolk not the Peak District. Having seen the video that’s worthy of a report to the police. The driver of the white car needs to be prosecuted.

Re: Cool Cover - Riders Seat

Will this fit a Wunderlich seat? I assume that it is a similar size to the OE seat. If so I’m interested!

Re: Best All Around Tire For The RT

Well I just changed my PR6’s for another set after 11k. Either they wear well or I’m light on them! Excellent handling both wet and dry.

BMW Connected ride cradle

I am considering options to make using my phone more easy. Currently I have a Zumo XT on the 3DAM adapter on my 2016 RT paired with an iPhone 13 and a Sena SRL2. That means I cannot make any changes to music etc plus using the phone requires leaning forward and tap the menu which isn’t exactly safe....

Re: Carpuride system

The 702 won’t fit the LC as the bracket is too short so the unit fouls the dash. Not sure about the 502 but if it’s a similar size to a Zumo XT it should fit. I’m undecided whether to get a Carpuride which is likely to work better than a stand alone sat nav as it has CarPlay but relies on a mobile s...

Carpuride system

I’m looking at the Carpuride W502 or 702 for my RT as it has Apple Carplay and is designed for bikes. They do an adapter so it can be fitted to the OE sat nav bracket but has anyone done this? Does the W702 with the 7” screen fit or is the W502 better? Any views either way!

I’d say Ebony as that is the same colour as my bike. Can’t get the colour code as not at home at present.
