Re: Quick question. Pannier Dimensions
Thanks Loopers. I’ve got a relative who does this sort of thing in the motor trade. He’ll give me a hand to do it if I supply the kit. I’ve used pre cut kits previously on my GSs. Never really found them to be up to much . Thought that I’d give him the chance in this occasion.

Quick question. Pannier Dimensions
I’m talking delivery of a new RT this week . It’s my intention to wrap the top of the pannier lids with PPF. Anyone help with the pannier dimensions so that I ensure I purchase the right size. Lengths are fine . Widths are variable.
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

Although I would use it as an excuse to upgrade to the zumo XT
I might actually do that once I have the ability to upgrade. Just had a wedding and a graduation in the space of a week! My needs are certainly down the pecking order for the foreseeable!

Re: Auxiliary Power Socket
There is this one https://www.adapter3dmotorrad.it/prodotto/lmzumo-rt/ But that to me looks like a 390/395/396 not sure if the 590 would fit in the aperture with that adaptor Adjusting the wiring to suit would be easy enough its whether the 590 would actually fit in as from memory it is a little bu...

Re: Auxiliary Power Socket
Sadly it is back to the drawing board. The Zumo I have is the 590LM and the adapter is not compatible. Off to rethink a solution!

Re: Auxiliary Power Socket
I’m revisiting this as my last solution wasn’t a success. With the time of year meaning I can use the bike again for business I’m keen to see if I can get a solution that works. @ sakm can I confirm that power should get to the unit from the original cradle although I understand ...
