Re: Wind Deflectors???
I've read in other forums that the removal of most of the dashboard is necessary to get to the two screws that hold the wind deflectors on. Has anyone taken the trouble to remove the wind deflectors for more airflow in warm weather? Is it worth the effort?

Yeah, I considered that but I rode without the tablet attached and it didn't help. Plus I'm addicted to YouTube...

Need more airflow for warm weather riding
Dear RT Experts, I'm looking for ideas to increase the airflow while riding my 2018 RT with the stock windshield in the lowest position. The K1600GT has nifty wind deflectors that when opened direct airflow into the cockpit for just such cooling. Has anyone experimented with trying to mount those on...

Re: Your best R1200/1250 Pic
I purchase in February 2022, as a 50th birthday present to myself. It's a 2018 R1200RT with only 11,250 miles on it when I rescued it from the dealership in Las Vegas and rode it back to Southern California. 2018R1200RT.jpg My most recent track day on Labor Day earlier this month. 2018R1200RTtrack d...

Center bulb low beam high beam brightness
Hello, I recently noticed that when my 2018 R1200RT engine is running and I have the headlight in low beam mode and only the center light is on, the center bulb seems to be very bright. When I switch to high beam mode and the left and right lights come on, the center bulb seems to dim to about 50%. ...

RT top case organization ideas needed
I just added a BMW top case to my 2018 R1200RT. I'm hoping for ideas for organizing the space. There are mesh nets for inside the top lid available that are specific to Vario top cases but I haven't found anything RT top case specific. Any ideas and photos will be much ...

Upper crash bars / fairing protection bars advice needed
Dear fellow RT owners, I just purchased a 2018 R1200RT that is stock. I'm upgrading from a 2011 R1200GS that has lower and upper crash bars that have saved my body panels several times when dropping the bike or low-speed low side crashes in the dirt. Therefore,...
