Re: Screen
Screens are a very personal choice, but without doubt the best I’ve found is the Werks Quiet Ride screen… But, the guy that invented them is retiring and no more will be made. Isn’t the same screen called Juroc Steve ?, I emailed them months ago but no reply. https://www.7jurock.com/collect...

Re: New Chigee version on the way
It appears that for the 1200 you need to buy an extra plug-in CGRC-CAN to get Wonder Wheel and TPMS integration @ £79.99 https://abikething.com/product/chigee-cgrc-remote-control-can-for-bmw/ And of course a posh silicone carry case @ £29, and a screen protector @ £19 Giving a grand total of £127.9...

Alternative to leather trousers ?
So I’ve pretty much only ever worn leather trousers on the bike ( once I’d stopped wearing jeans!) Ive gone from 34” waist through 36” and last couple of years a 40” , im fed up with baggy ass and leg syndrome now!. What might be a suitable alternative that are comfy and have a degree of prot...

Re: Putting the bike away
Once home I go inside, get out of the bike gear then put the bike in the shed but leave the side door open.

Re: Foot peg lowering kit for RT
yep, 2 times so far. both times i was in my driveway. I now turn the bike off first. It’s annoying isn’t it, one odd thing yesterday was on the way home we stopped for half a shandy and when we left i mistakenly put the bike into 1st gear before the motor was at low idle, bizarrely there was no clu...

Re: Best All Around Tire For The RT
Personally I preferred the Michelin 5GT which I found a softer ride, but next time I’ll try the Bridgestone T32GT which get good reviews and are cheaper than the 6GT’s. The 6GT does seem to give a hard ride Steve but I’ve not had road5’s so can’t compare. After having 16 years on uneven Bridgestone...

Re: Foot peg lowering kit for RT
So twice now since fitting the peg lowering kit to the 1250RT I’ve managed to to stall the motor when trying to put the side stand down  . Looking for the stand with my boot heel I’ve inadvertently tapped the gear lever into 1st !. Obviously not good for either the gearbox and embarrassing if ...

Re: What did you do today?
Sorry for posting this on here, but i'm just a bit upset today. Today is a sad day for me, as i found out this morning my best mate Ian died yesterday. We knew he did not have long left, but none of us thought it would be this soon. He would of been 61 on the 2nd September. He leaves behind a lovin...
