Re: Vibration coming through on foot pegs.

Unfortunately the vibrations were there before new tyres fitted which are road 6 as well. Thanks for the comment. Will see what happens. I’d tell the dealer to contact bmw so they know there’s an ongoing problem after the shaft was replaced, tell them you’re leaving it with them until it’s fixed. I...

Re: What did you do today?

That looks a right bugger of a job getting in and out,not the ramp I envisaged. Yeah, it used to be not to bad with the pan but I was also younger then  . A view from inside, the ramp I put on hinges so it’s out the way. Shed isn’t long enough for a longer ramp. I also have to first move the c...

Re: Duration of RT Ownership

3 yrs I think for a 19 1250RT LE. Before that I had a Honda ST1300 for 16 yrs which was a record for me. I do very little mileage though, mainly short Saturday morning runs with the wife as pillion.
Not sure what we’re doing going forward, plan was to change for a 24 plate 1250 but plans change.

Expensive mistake. Turned the lights off, locked the garage door up and walked away. Hurts just writing about it!
Damn 🙁

Re: What did you do today?

Popped out round the block earlier, first time on the RT since before my op over 7 weeks ago. Pretty much instant neck and shoulder pain as I’ve had for several years now wearing a helmet and riding a bike. I started to wonder if I actually enjoy it anymore :? . We were thinking of getting a low mil...

Surprising how much comes up.Are you putting some sort of fertiliser on after. Maybe some roundup 🤣. I might give it a light dressing in the spring maybe but I don’t want to be cutting it twice a week!. Some of my clients used to have “Green thumb” lawn care which was a nightmare , you could see th...

Happy retirement Panman, bet SHE already has a list of jobs to be getting on with :-D Thanks 👍, I didn’t want to really and if the person I worked for bought a ride on mower I wouldn’t have but I’m sick of wearing myself out walking miles behind a pedestrian mower!, the boss is the main wage earner ...

I finally found the thread on it, which has lots of good pictures, by just trawling through their posts: GS Top Yoke Conversion Kit Sorry if I was a bother here. Just really trying to sort out a potentially big decision. Thanks again for the details provided and help. No bother lol!, sorry I though...
