Re: Used R1200RT Price
With that low mileage if the bike is really in great shape, I'd say that's not a bad price. Particularly if you can determine the history since new. I think that once the price gets down to that range it likely won't drop quickly. It's all about the condition. With that mileage it should still be a ...

Re: New R1200RT Owner
I also switched to a 2015 RT after about 20 years on an ST1100 and an ST1300. Absolutely loved both ST's but wanted some of the extras the RT offered. I expect maintenance will cost more than the ST's (as they cost almost nothing in over 180,000 km's total), but the RT is so much fun that I think I'...

Re: Nav VI
Thanks Casbar. That's kind of what I was thinking of doing, using the Nav VI mounting plate. Can you give me any more details about the "fly lead" and the "correct plug" for the power?

Re: Nav VI
Thanks folks. I'm pretty sure I'll go with the Zumo and I'd like to mount it in front of the Nav VI cover plate as well. Any pictures of such an install would be great!

Re: New to me 2015 R1200RT
Thanks folks. So far the Beemer is great. If Honda had kept the ST up to date I believe they would still have a great bike, but they certainly let things slide in the tech department and they just don't make a touring bike that I like. I've had a couple of Wings and they are a great bike but since I...

New to me 2015 R1200RT
Hi folks. I recently sold my beloved Honda ST1300 that I had for 17 years and bought a 2015 RT. So far, I love it, but I admit that the ST will be a hard act to follow. Cruise, heated grips and seat, and less engine heat are immediate positives. I hope to glean many good suggestions from this forum....
