Re: Sat Nav eject button sticking
Thanks for the info. As long as the adapter is locked in place I’ll be happier. When in position it is possible to release the Zumo but it’s not easy. I think I can manufacture a cover given some time.

Re: Sat Nav eject button sticking
Whilst looking at this post it got me wondering. As I’ve just fitted a Zumo xt2 with the 3DAM adapter, could this happen on mine. It has been a bit sticky of late. I’m thinking of fitting the Wunderlich locking plate that works off the central locking but I can’t confirm that it will work. Looking a...

Re: Anyone bought a bike without a test ride
I have to confess I bought my 1250RT without a test ride. 2020 with 3k on the clock. The problem was I live in Durham and the bike came from Ocean BMW in Cornwall. I made enquiries and spoke at length to the sales staff. They did a good deal on my Pan, delivered the BMW and took away the Pan. That w...

Re: New BMW connected navigation
I emailed 3DAM earlier and received a reply within a few hour. They say “ Hello, no a we have suitable for the new bmw navigators it is not expected the development of a specific adaptor as we are reading about problems also with the new navigator”. I think this is no to the question posed “are you ...

Re: New BMW connected navigation
After looking through lots of reviews etc on YouTube and the wider internet I'm wondering if the company that makes the 3DAM adapter for the Garnam XT will be making a similar kit for the new BMW connected navigator. Does anyone have any info or contact details for the company. I think this could be...

Re: New BMW connected navigation
Thanks for the info.
Lots of food for thought.
I’m pleased I didn’t buy one. Might go for plan B, garmin XT with the 3DAM adapter.
The RT seems to be the poor relation of BMW. You would have thought they would have a mount available and open up a wider market for the new navigator.

New BMW connected navigation
Does anyone know if the new BMW navigator fits on a 2020 or before 1250RT.
From what I’ve seen on YouTube it would appear not. The next question would have to be, do I therefore buy a Zumo XT instead?

Re: First sat nav on 2020 RT
Thanks for the reply. Reading through the available detritus on the internet it would appear that the issues around the nav6 have been resolved and Garmin have rectified the issues of the screen jumping and freezing. I am leaning towards the nav6 with a locking plate wired into the central locking f...

First sat nav on 2020 RT
Hello all I’ve recently purchased a 1250RT LE and I’m thinking of fitting sat nav but I’ve heard such horror stories about the nav6. So now looking at the Garmin Zumo XT but obviously need the conversion mount which I’ve read up on and it seems the 3DAM seems the best at present. I know that the nav...
