Re: OEM Audio System
When i saw this audio system for sale i messaged the seller as the 3 parts were on 3 listing on ebay. The amp and wiring were listed for £159, The speakers for £99 and the control buttons and panel for £49. A total of £307. I asked if they would do a deal on me buying all 3 items together, and after...

Re: OEM Audio System
So i now have a nice ride over to North Oxford Motorrad next Wednesday to be there for 8am.
Will be an early start to leave home about 5.30am.
The cost for coding the audio system and doing any updates needed is £50

Re: OEM Audio System
I just did a scan with my GS911, no faults with the audio system. It does however comes up with "VIN Mismatch".
I will ring up my local BMW dealer today and ask about it.
Also i have read that MotoScan might be able to code it, anyone know anything about this ?

OEM Audio System
So i got hold of everything needed to add the Audio system to my RT. Everything is fitted and it was not that hard to work out. There was one connector that i did not know where it went right away. But found it to connect to the white plug behind the sat nav to work the wonder wheel. So it all conne...

Re: Key Barrel
Well i took one of the locks apart (left cubby storage). What a pain in the ass that was. I had to remove the face plate of the lock to remove the long pin that was holding the wafers in place. Then i stabbed myself with a small screwdriver in the finger tapping the sides of the face plate so it did...

central locking
Do you use the key to lock your panniers or just use the central locking. With me, if i'm staying near the bike i just use the central locking. But if leaving the bike out of sight i use the key to lock them as well and set the alarm. What i like and it took me a couple of months to find out, is you...

Re: fuel tank
Fuel tank off. Very easy to remove. Take the 4 bolts out that fits the rider seat hight adjuster and remove. Unplug the fuel cap connector and pull the 2 breather pipes off from the filler cap. Hold the back of the tank at the sides and lift and pull backwards about 4 inches. The fuel pipe has a qui...
