Re: GS1250 top yoke, can be used for RT bar conversion

All i can say, is i will never go back to the stock handlebars. I really like having the GS conversion on Artie.
With the GS bars, the lower footpegs and the sargent seat fitted, has for me made the RT a really nice bike to ride.

Re: R1200RT 2014 parts available

Now that would make a nice streetfighter project 8-)

If the speaker pods are ok, would you post them to the UK ?
Not worried if speakers are damaged, just want the housings for both.

Re: Sat Nav connector

Treat yourself to an Hex eZcan. That way you can add upto 4 items to your bike. Like extra lights or Denali Horn and so on. You can set the sat-nav to turn off itself from 0 of 60 seconds delay.

Re: What did you do today?

Today i sorted the bikes out in the garage. Artie is now at the back under a kawasaki indoor cover, all clean and ready for spring. I can still get to it to start it up, and also stick the battery on charge every so often. With how the weather has been this year. I'm happy i got to use Artie to mid ...

Re: Wet Roads and Boots

So this morning i have bought myself a pair of Daytona Roadstar Pro GTX boots.
I just hope they will fit as my normal boot size is 46 or 11 uk. But Daytona sizing chart has size 46 as a uk 11.5.

2013 XL-1000 Varadero. Was going to sell it because of its top heavy weight. But i removed all the engine and luggage bars and changed the exhausts, which has made it much better.

Re: Scotchgard™ Heavy Duty Water Shield

Yes we have this type of waterproofs which are ok for going over our summer gear.
Our winter gear (paragon 6) is very warm and breathable.
From reading the info about the Scotchgard, it still allows the fabric to breath.

Scotchgard™ Heavy Duty Water Shield

So after getting very wet the other day in the heavy rain we had, I thought i needed to do something to help. So i hit google and read about some products to help make fabric a bit more water repellent. My RST Paragon 6 gear is not bad at keeping you dry in all but heavy rain. But i want a bit more ...

Wet Roads and Boots

One thing i found when i was riding in the rain the other day. When it came to stopping the weight of the bike felt like it had doubled. I felt like i had to work hard to keep it upright because i just could not get a great grip between my boots and the road. I was riding 2 up with full panniers. An...

Re: Old Photos

This was taken in 2011 or 2012. Its the same blue/silver hayabusa. i did a full nut and bolt revamp and had a shit load of powder coating done locally. And i painted it Ford Frozen White. Also fitted a new headlight.
It is one bike i wish i kept. I know its over in Ireland now.
